This letter comes from DigiDraw's partner team in Korea. On September 9-10, they brought the full product lineup to Sunchon National University — the second stop of the Korea campus tour, right after two days at Honam University in Gwangju. Here is what they sent back.

Dear friends,

Head south from Gwangju and you reach Suncheon, a city known for its wetlands and its slow pace of life. September is still warm here. Like our last stop, Sunchon National University has its own comics and animation program — in Korea, it seems, you can find young people who love to draw almost anywhere. We arrived with high hopes, and the campus did not disappoint.

First, the booth

As usual, a quick report on the setup. Turing Pro 19, Turing 14, Basic S/M, Smart S/M — this time we brought the entire lineup and laid it all out on one long table, entry level to pro, side by side. The question "which one is right for you?" is best answered by your own hand. Not long after we opened, there wasn't an empty seat left.

The students who sat down and stayed

Most students stopped on their way to somewhere else. They sat down, picked up a pen — and didn't leave. Nobody rushed them, and they were in no hurry. Some drew their favorite characters, some just doodled, and more than a few finished their sketch and handed the pen to a friend: "you have to try this." Honestly, that sentence is the best advertising we could ask for on a campus.

Between classes — not a seat to spare

This time, we asked a question

Alongside the hands-on demos, we added one more thing: scan a QR code, fill in a short survey, and walk away with a sandwich and a juice. The poster was blunt about the deal, and the students were just as blunt in their answers — plenty of thoughtful responses came back fast. Every one of those surveys goes straight to our product and marketing teams. Knowing what students actually want matters far more to us than selling one more device on the spot.

One last moment

One moment we keep thinking about. A student sat at a Turing 14 for a long time, working on the line art of an anime character. The person drawing said nothing; the people watching said nothing. The hallway was loud, but that little patch of screen was quiet. In moments like that, everything printed on our banners feels unnecessary. One detail worth mentioning: the price tags on the devices were campus-only prices, prepared just for students. A first pen display shouldn't live too far out of reach.
