On September 2, 2026, DigiDraw Thailand joined hands with the Interactive Digital Arts program at Dhurakij Pundit University (DPU) to bring first-year students a digital printing class like no other. It was DigiDraw's first-ever class at a Thai university — and for these freshmen, their very first formal encounter with digital creation tools in their university journey.

Starting with a Pen: The First Digital Creation Lesson for Freshmen

For first-year students who have just stepped onto campus, digital drawing and digital printing are both fresh and unfamiliar. In class, the instructor began with the basics — how to hold a pressure-sensitive pen, what pressure levels mean — and guided students through the workflow of digital painting software and the complete digital printing process: from the first stroke on screen to a finished file ready for print.

The classroom was packed. Students listened and practiced at the same time, hands on the pen displays and pen tablets in front of them. As the pen tip glided across the screen, lines shifted naturally between thick and thin, dark and light with every change in pressure. For many, it was the first time they truly felt that digital creation can be just as natural as pen on paper.
